Peter Hui is the Founder and Chairman of King of Knit Fashion Limited (est. 2006) and Cool Partners International Limited (est. 2008). With more than 25 years of experience in the premium knitwear sector, he has built internationally competitive businesses renowned for their commitment to quality, innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, proudly serving major clients across Japan and Australia.

In 2022, he was honoured with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the sector.
Since becoming Chairman of the Knitwear Innovation and Design Society (KIDS) in 2024, Peter has made the nurturing of young creative talent and the elevation of Hong Kong’s knitwear industry central to his leadership. Under his guidance, KIDS successfully launched the Young Knitwear Designers’ Contest (YKDC), with strong support from industry stakeholders and the Hong Kong Government’s Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA). The second edition concluded with outstanding results in September 2025, providing emerging designers with valuable platforms through runway showcases, industry networking, business matching, and public recognition.
Peter recently initiated the Dream Knitters Fund, established jointly with the Hong Kong Knitwear Exporters & Manufacturers Association, Knitwear Innovation and Design Society, Hong Kong Woollen & Synthetic Knitting Manufacturers’ Association, Hong Kong Fur Federation, King of Knit Fashion Limited, Speed Apparel Limited, and Fenix Group. Dedicated to supporting emerging Hong Kong designer brands, the Fund provides young designers with financial support, resources, market access, and comprehensive industrial chain assistance. This initiative reflects his strong commitment to nurturing local design talent, driving innovation and brand upgrading in the fashion industry, and helping Hong Kong fashion design go global while achieving sustainable development.
An accomplished amateur athlete, Peter excels in marathon and trail running, weight training, golf, sailing, dragon boat paddling, stand-up paddling, wake surfing, and snowboarding. Passionate about healthy ageing, he has organised charity events since 2025 to encourage middle-aged and elderly individuals to embrace active lifestyles, working closely with certified fitness trainers, nutritionists, and orthopaedic specialists. Through visionary leadership, innovation, and deep community commitment, Peter continues to shape the future of Hong Kong’s knitwear and fashion industries for generations to come.
